Lollipop Chat
Realistic AI friends in a simple texting-style app
Overview
Lollipop Chat presents its companions like contacts in a messaging app, each with a short profile covering age, home country and hobbies, from a Finnish model to a London art lover. Conversations mix text, voice and photos, and the team pitches the experience as unfiltered, with realism as the main goal.
A beta builder lets you design your own companion, and a second-generation app is available separately for users who want the newer experience. The interface is simple and quick to pick up, though pricing is not published on the homepage and some profiles stay locked until you log in. It suits users who want a straightforward, realistic texting feel rather than a large fantasy catalogue.
Our Verdict
A clean, realism-focused texting companion that is easy to try, though pricing transparency is lacking.
